This is a composition inspired by the "star cluster", Pleiades, otherwise known as, "The Seven Sisters". I was introduced to it as a young lad, and became fascinated with its beauty and unique grouping. I always look for it first when I gaze into the Heavens.
This is a sonic journey to Chester's favorite star cluster, "The Seven Sisters". We are excited to announce that this instrumental orchestral composition, "Passage To Pleiades", has been selected as an Official Nominee for "Best Composition" in the New Age/Ambient category at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards (HIMA), coming up on July 30th of this year. It is his 9th nominee for "Best Song" in the past several years. It comes from his award-winning album, "Flying My Pyramid". It was inspired by and dedicated to Chet's love for the stars, and "The Seven Sisters", also known as the Pleiades Star Cluster. It is a swirling, wondrous, and immersive 63-track orchestration.
